RecoveryManager Plus can back up mailboxes from both on-premises

What items does RecoveryManager Plus back up?

  • All items in users’ Exchange mailboxes including emails, calendar entries, contacts, journals, notes, posts, and tasks.
  • All draft emails, deleted items, junk mail, outgoing emails, and permanently deleted items.
  • All group mailboxes, archive mailboxes, and items in litigation and in-place holds.

How to back up an Exchange mailbox.

  • Chooseyour Exchange type and the tenant/organization.

  • Select the mailboxes that you want to back up.

  • Configure additional export
    settings.

    Backup frequency

    Select the frequency at which the backup scheduler will run: daily, weekly, or monthly.

    Select the repository in which the backups will be stored.

    Retention period

    Configure a retention period for your Exchange backups. Backups older than the defined period will be deleted.

    Mailbox folders to exclude

    Select the folders that you'd like to exclude from being backed up, including draft, deleted item, junk mail, outbox, permanently deleted item, and litigation and in-place hold folders.
